South of England Pomeranian Club – 7th February 2015.
New Haw Community Centre, Addlestone, Surrey.
I would like to thank the Officers and Committee of the South of England Pomeranian Club for inviting me to judge this well organised show. Also thanks must go to my stewards and to the sporting exhibitors who supported me with such a quality entry.
Veteran D/B (2)1: Odd’s Ch Benlease Barney Rubble ShCM, orange male, 8 yrs, compact short coupled d, very sound, pleasing head with small ears, short neck, four sound legs, high tailset and moved how a true champion should, despite his age, BVIS 2: Chapman’s Joanme Mr Moonlight, wolf sable, pretty head with dark eyes, carrying far too much weight, tended to move wide behind, nevertheless enjoying his day out.
Jun D (5)1: Orchard & Whitelock’s Manatek Ice So Seksy, a stunning young orange male, just 14 months, foxy in head with correct eye shape, flat skull, muzzle in proprtion to head, short neck into clean shoulders, fine bone throughout with a well ribbed body for size, cat like feet, moved freely showing off his compact body and high taileset, immaculate condition and one I would predict to have a rosy future ahead, BD & BIS. 2: Killick’s Travillon Who’s The Daddy, lovely orange sable of a type I like, excellent head and muzzle length, eyes of medium size, short body with barrelled ribs, straight forelegs and sound hindquarters, high set tail, a little unco-operate on the table, but moved soundly.3: Hull’s Gillipom Braveart
Nov D(2)1: Orchard & Whitelock’s Tuttsclump Toy Soldier, cream dog of smaller type with compact body, pleasing head with dark eyes, true in front with sound hindquarters with moderate angulation, very showy and well presented.2: Killick’s Travillon Who’s The Daddy
Post Grad D(2)1: Killick’s Reta You Sexy Thing, orange sable with foxy expression, medium sized eye with well proportioned head, black nose, finely boned throughout but strong, high set tail, harsh coat, looked nice going around. 2: Lewis’s Pommania Head Line News, another with a nice head and eye shape, small ears set well, straight forelegs, compact with high tail set, not the movement of 1 and has a softer coat.
Limit D(2)1: Nolan, Titchener & Hall’s Manatek Walkin On Sunshine, orange sable, nice head with slight oval eye shape, fine in muzzle, dark pigment, short coupled body with excellent tail set and carriage, well bodied and pleasing type.
Open D (2)1: Holman & Odd’s Kamis Mystical Legend of Brooklyn at Altina (Imp), dark orange sable dog with a very foxy expression and smaller eye, short back with clean shoulders, four sound legs and totally balanced, barrelled body, deep in chest, some would say not the most eyecatching colour, but has great coat texture, moved freely and confidently with high tail carriage to win RBD.
Min Pup B(7)1: Campbell’s Altina’s Golden Bubbles, I was told relatively a newcomer to the breed and how lucky to purchase a quality puppy, caught my eye as soon as she entered, a compact orange with a sweet foxy head, neck short, straight forelegs finely boned, well bodied for a youngster, moved briskly, yet naughty, has a well groomed glamorous puppy coat, BPIS  2: Pike’s Breezlyn Pimms O’Clock, pushed 1 hard, promising orange sable of  superb type, correct head shape and length to muzzle, small ears with again the desired foxy expression, firm shoulders, well laid back, desired barrel body and in a well-knit frame, RBPIS, 3: Stones & Lewis’s Bilijees Crème Del Le Creme
Pup B(2)1: Hull’s Gillipom Mysterious Girl, wolf sable of smaller type, v fem in head with medium sized eyes, dainty and fine boned throughout, cat-like feet, tended to paddle slightly in front. 2: Orchard & Whitelock’s Cagneys Ice and Desire, nice headed orange that was better than 1, had good breed attributes but was a shade longer in body, v glamorous and well presented.
Jun B(3)1: Nolan’s Manatek Midnight Tango at Villenelle, black, dense colour, nice shaped head, slightly longer in muzzle, exc straight forelegs, well bodied and compact with high tail set, moved freely. 2: Booth’s Cagneys Lullabye, orange, appealing type, nice headed and length to muzzle, dark eyes, looked good standing and moving, but needs more time for something to rectify. 3: Killick’s Manatek Dark Destiny of Travillon
Nov B(3)1: Selwood’s Dilina Royal Showy Ray with Lijuan (Imp), orange with a lovely head and true expression, so sound in front with good shoulders, chest fairly deep with adequate spring on rib, compact, moved briskly, won this class despite her fault. 2: Killick’s Manatek Dark Destiny of Travillon, black, immature to winner and longer muzzled, good ear set, compact body, tended to roach slightly on the table and needs to settle on the move.
Post Grad B (4)1: Lewis’s Bilijees Valentina JW; cream b with the most appealing head and foxy expression, certainly an extrovert, short coupled with a well ribbed body, fine legs into well laid shoulders, firm hindquarters and mod bend of stifle, in lovely condition with correct texture, moved around the ring showing off her compactness and high tail carriage, moving freely, should go on to do really well I’m sure, RBB. 2: Leighfield’s Baromar Ice Queen, white who was ultra fem with pretty head, well laid shoulders, solid body with barelled ribs, very sound. 3: James’s Jeshuas La Vie en Rose,
Limit B(4)1: Hull’s Gillipom Crystal Illusion, larger cream b with well proportioned head, black nose, straight forelegs, well ribbed, short coupled, sound rear, correct tail carriage, moved briskly. 2: Pike’s Zentarr Lillie, pretty headed b of an ideal size, more compact than winner but lost out due to another fault.  3: Lambert’s Julapom Talula with Pomstar
Open B(3)1: Pike’s Breezelyn Love at First Bite, she was a love at first sight to me, orange sable and one from the top drawer, super head and expression with correct size and shape of eye, small ears carried erect, black pigment, short neck with clean shoulders, straight forelegs, short coupled with high set tail, barrel ribs, super outline with correct harsh top coat, schooled to perfection, a recent champion I was told, I liked her a lot, BB & RBIS.
Sp Open Orange D/B(4)1: Killick’s Travillon Hot Toddy, a super orange d of lovely type and quality, scores in head, eye, muzzle and pigment, straight front with fairly deep chest, barrelled compact body with high tail set, back movement a little wide. 2: Selwood’s Dilina Royal Showy Ray with Lijuan (Imp)
Sp Open Sable D/B (2)1: Stone & Lewis’s Bowlou Pippa, smaller b, extremely compact, sweetest of heads and expression, small ears, dark nose pigment, correct in front, fine but firm throughout, a very sound girl that looked good standing and moving, super condition and coat texture.2: Chapman’s Tuttsclump Orlando, larger type, very sound, just has a rounder eye and slightly longer in muzzle.
Sp Open Black/Cream D/B (4)1: Orchard & Whitelock’s Tuttsclump Toy Soldier; 2: Nolan’s Villenelle Let It Be; lovely head and eye and expression, good typy male, black nose, so sound but longer cast than 1 3: Lambert’s Julapom Talula with Pomstar
Sp Open Any Other Colour D/B (3)1: Leighfield’s Baromar Ice Queen; 2: Chapman’s Joanme Mr Moonlight.
Special Beg D/B(2) 1: Booth’s Cagneys Lullabye
